Description

Pertinace Dolcetto d’Alba DOC, a dry red wine, is the product of grapes sourced from extensive 20-hectare vineyards in Treiso and Alba. With exposures to the South, South-East, and South-West, Pertinace’s vineyards yield an average of 60 hectolitres of wine per hectare. The grape variety used is Dolcetto, cultivated using the Guyot vine training method. The vinification process involves an 8-10 day period in steel tanks with temperature control. Subsequently, the wine ages for 6 months in steel tanks, resulting in a deep ruby red color with violet shades and a persistent aroma characterized by fruity notes of wild berries. The taste profile is well balanced and elegant, making this wine a versatile companion, suitable for pairing with a wide range of dishes, from Italian to international cuisine.
