Description
A pioneer in New York State made Bourbon, Coppersea Bourbon is made from entirely Hudson Valley grains, with much of their grains being grown on their own 75-acre organic farm. they malt in house, use only indigenous yeasts by employing open-top fermenters, and then distill directly over flame which creates a richer mouthfeel. Finally, the spirit is aged in indigenous Hudson Valley Oak barrels. The mash bill is 60% corn, 30% rye, and 10% malted barley, bottled at 96 proof to create a well-balanced, flavorful, and unique spirit.
This bourbon has notes of polenta, toasty bread, and black pepper, with additional notes of vanilla, almonds, and cedar from the oak barrels.
