Description

Nicolas Potel Chambolle-Musigny 2007

Nicolas Potel consistently favors promoting ripeness at low potential alcohol and consistently eschews chaptalization. He is also a fan of freshness and clarity in Pinot, while maintaining notably low levels of sulfur. Made with 100% hand-harvested and manually sorted Pinot Noir grapes. Lots of red fruit characteristics and hints of spices on the nose and the palate. An elegant wine with length. Gorgeous ruby. Strong reduction blocks the nose though the flavors are very rich, full and intense with a frank, complex and serious finish that displays moderate rusticity.
