Willett Reserve Pot Still Whiskey is an exceptional single barrel bourbon. There is no age statement on the bottle, but the barrels are usually between 7 and 9 years old. Every bottle has a cask number, bottle number, and the total number of bottles drawn from that cask. It received a gold medal from San Francisco World Spirits Competition and a double gold Package Design Award in 2009. Bottled at 47% alc/vol.
Willet Reserve has distinct aromas of oak, accompanied by notes of orange blossoms, teriyaki, cinnamon, and a subtle hint of bananas. Upon tasting, the palate reveals flavors of butterscotch, black tea, lemon, and a continuation of cinnamon. As the experience concludes, the finish is of medium duration, marked by herbal nuances, a touch of pepper, and the interplay of toffee and pecans.
