Celeste is an opulent wine brimming with fruit, body and color: as unique as the night sky in the Ribera del Duero. Pretty cherry red in color, with a fragrant nose of red and black fruits and subtle notes of spices. Offers a full, velvety, round entry to the palate with a deep finish reminiscent of wild berries. Due to its fruity and tannic characteristics, this wine pairs with the traditional oven roasted meats as well as grilled and barbecue meals. More than just a classic Ribera del Duero, the 2011 Torres Celeste is an excellent wine! This wine is so solid and simply wraps around the palate with its beautiful oak accents. Deep, dark ruby color; beautiful aroma, red fruit, some dried sage and red currants; medium bodied, active on the palate; bright, red fruit and light coconut in the flavors; lively in the aftertaste.
