The Selection Clement Vignot Saint Emilion Grand Cru 2015, characterized by its dark and deep color, features an intense and pleasant nose with a harmonious blend of fruit and wood, showcasing a concentrated presence of black fruit; on the palate, it delivers a large volume with rich, mature, and powerful tannins, culminating in a very long finish with notes of candied fruit, and with a total production of 5,000 cases, it comprises Merlot (85%), Cabernet Franc (10%), and Malbec (5%) grapes from 60-year-old vines grown in sandy clay soils through sustainable viticulture (HVE) practices, with meticulous hand harvesting, fermentation in thermo-regulated stainless and concrete tanks, and 18 months of aging in 3-5-year-old oak barrels, ultimately resulting in an estate-bottled product.
