Santa Teresa 1796 is the only aged rum that is produced in its entirety with the long-standing Solera method. The Solera method is an artisanal process using oak barrels that had been traditionally reserved for Spanish sherry and brandy. Because of the Solera method, Santa Teresa 1796, a rounded and firm-bodied rum, offers a balance that is delicate with a complex and mellow flavor.
Ron Santa Teresa is one of the Caribbean’s first rum producer. It is a family and independent business, with the purpose of leading the category of premium rums in the world. The rums of Ron Santa Teresa, have been produced in the Hacienda Santa Teresa for more than 2 centurie and are present in more than 30 countries.
NOSE: Fruity aroma with honey and dark chocolate notes.
PALATE: With a mellow yet complex flavor, tobacco and leather notes, toasted and smoky.
FINISH: long, oaky and fruity finish with caramel and nuts.
