The Ponzi Vineyards Aurora Pinot Noir 2012 vintage has an explosive nose of sambuca, sassafrass, coffee, sweet Italian plum along with a spice box of nutmeg, star anise, ginger and cola. The palate is full and seamless. Baker’s chocolate, blueberry, lavender and tea lead to a long and balanced finish. This Pinot Noir is crafted exclusively with fruit from Ponzi’s LIVE Certified Sustainable Aurora Vineyard. The 2012 vintage is considered to be an epic year for Oregonian wines, due to the intensity of flavor in the grapes grown for wines of this vintage.
