Mount Hermon Red

Mount Hermon Red

Mount Hermon Red is easy on entry, offering smooth tannins that slowly reveal themselves and culminating in a floral and cranberry finish.

The aromatic profile of Mount Hermon Red is marked by notes of cassis and vanilla, paving the way for a palate rich with flavors such as black cherry, blackberry, butterscotch, juniper, and violet. This wine offers a smooth entry, with tannins gradually unfolding to a finish characterized by floral and cranberry notes.

Mount Hermon was produced from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with a small amount of Cabernet Franc, all grown in the Golan Heights. The cool climate, rocky volcanic soil, and high altitude are ideal conditions for growing classic wine grape varieties. Moderately early pressing yields a wine with good color and ample fruit that can be enjoyed without extensive aging.
