Crafted with precision by winemaker Jeff Carrel at the Espitalet des Anges domaine in Capestang, Les Anges – Rosé De Loire showcases the distinct Cabernet Franc grape in the Val De Loire region, France. The beautiful pink hue with purplish undertones characterizes this semi-dry wine. Offering a lively nose dominated by raspberry and currant notes, the rosé is exceptionally refreshing and suitable for enjoyment in all seasons. The Villa Des Anges domaine, with a Mediterranean climate and vineyards planted in ancient alluvial and clay/limestone soils, reflects a commitment to sustainable viticulture. The composition of this rosé is 100% Cinsault, sourced from old, Guyot-trained vines averaging 40+ years in age. The winemaking process involves night harvesting, stainless steel vinification at controlled temperatures, direct pressing without maceration, and 78% undergoing malolactic conversion. Maturing for two months on the fine lees and bottled young, this rosé embodies the essence of its terroir and winemaking expertise.
