Flor de Cana 18-Year Centenario Gold Nicaragua Rum has been tropically aged for 18 years in small hand-crafted bourbon casks to obtain its oaky and extra smooth finish, giving it a truly incredible complexity and depth. Sustainably crafted, from field to bottle, at a 5th generation family estate since 1890 and naturally aged without artificial ingredients at the base of an active volcano.
The bottling has a creamy mouthfeel, with delicate flavours of tropical fruit (peach, mango, banana, apricot), orange blossom, cigar smoke, fragrant spices of cardamom and cinnamon, leathery oak, chocolate, praline, honey, rum-soaked cake and whipped cream.
A very reserved and stylish sipping rum, it’s also an ideal choice for rum cake with its sweet profile.
