$34.99

A historic brand of fig brandy, the kosher Boukha Bokobsa has been made by a Tunisian family whose business was established in 1870. Made with figs from the Mediterranean, this can be enjoyed on its own or in a range of cocktails.

Description

The Bokobsa family has been producing kosher spirits since 1870. Around 1880, in his distillery of La Soukra, in Tunisia, they invented Boukha, a spirit made with the finest Mediterranean figs. Since then, the Bokobsa family has continued this tradition by keeping the same natural recipe.

Made from distilling Tunisian figs, Boukha Bokobsa is smooth water of life with layers of interesting flavors. Aromas of dried figs and dates are subtly intertwined with earthy notes reminiscent of fig stems, seeds, and browned leaves, with a hint of briny essence. The palate offers a delicate sweetness and a thin-to-medium mouthfeel, accompanied by a gentle oiliness and a touch of spice reminiscent of white pepper. The fruit profile introduces fresh fig leaves and a medium presence of figs, exuding a sense of freshness. The finish lingers, unveiling notes of delicate figs, white pepper, subtle vanilla, and a touch of earthiness, extending the tasting experience.
