Antica Formula 1786 Vermouth
With an alcohol content of 16.5%, Antica Formula 1786 stands apart from other vermouths due to its distinctive bouquet and pronounced vanilla notes. Originally created by Antonio Benedetto Carpano in 1786 in Turin, this vermouth’s unique and inimitable recipe has been meticulously preserved over the years by Fratelli Branca Distillerie, exemplifying their motto “Novare Serbando.”
Antica Formula boasts a light brown color with an amber hue. On the nose, it presents a bouquet infused with vanilla and accented by notes of spice, citrus, and dried fruits like almond, raisins, and cloves. The palate experiences a well-rounded, rich vanilla taste that harmonizes with the scents detected in the aroma. It beautifully combines flavors of bitter orange, dates, cocoa beans, and saffron.
