Quintarelli Amarone della Valpolicello Classico 2009
Quintarelli is considered the father of Amarone, with an ancient history that dates back to the early 1900s in Negrar, the epicenter of Valpolicella, where between 12 hectares of vineyards and, with the utmost respect for tradition, about 50,000 bottles a year are produced for a production niche and therefore of great quality. In praise of the native grapes that are raised here in total respect for nature and following a very tight selection, Amarone Quintarelli is a beacon of Made in Italy all over the world, destined for endless aging during which it enhances its qualities to the maximum.
The Amarone Quintarelli presents an intense ruby-red color. The nose comes an intense aroma of licorice, cocoa, and vanilla that merges with the fruity notes of cherry and ripe plum. It has a full, intense, refined elegance and remarkable persistence. It pairs well with cheeses and roast meat, grilled or stewed.
